Page History
This guide relates to page level restrictions, NOT space level restrictions as the latter can only be assigned by an administrator. Space level restrictions will prevent you from accessing or seeing anything in a space.
Note |
---|
Page level restrictions are cascading. That means if you apply it to a page that has sub-pages (children) and sub-subpages (grandchildren) the restrictions will flow onto the children and grandchildren. |
There are two questions that need to be asked when adding persons to restricted pages:
- Do you have permission to add restrictions? If the options mentioned below are not showing for you then chances are you don't. Contact Michelle Fadelli for the necessary permissions.
- Does the page have restrictions?
Click on the three dots on the right hand side of the page then go to restrictions
...
start typing the name of the person, select the permission you want them to have (either can view or can view and edit) and click add
Click on Apply
Removing restrictions
Click 'Remove restrictions' next to the person(s) you want to remove restrictions from
Tip Removing all clears the page and its children, grandchildren, etc. of restrictions.
- Click Save
