Draw.io is a macro that enables you to produce your organization charts very easily as well as workflows and network diagrams.

Step 1:  Click on '+' on the menu bar, then  select 'other macros

                                              








Easy access of macros: type the symbol { then type the name of a macro. If you are not sure of the exact name, once you enter the symbol { click on 'open macros browser'  


Step 2: Search Draw.io and click to insert


Step 3: Select the blank diagram or any other recent diagram.




Step 4: Start editing and adding boxes.

Step 5: Use this organogram as an example. Its main objective is to display ´who does what´ and how a unit is organized.

How to add images to your draw.io diagram


  1. Access the attachements section on your page
     


  2. Attach images
  3. Edit diagram and select plus sign in the top bar and click on image to add the attached pictures.



  4. Select the image you would like to insert and click apply






  5. Move and resize the picture to the correct place in the org chart  and save the diagram.
